Fees

Hampton Medical Centre bulk bills all eligible Medicare card holders, so there is no out-of-pocket cost for standard care when you present a valid Medicare card. For patients who are not covered by Medicare, the following fees apply (the Medicare rebate, where applicable, is shown in brackets):

In-hours consultations

  • Standard consultation: $75 (Medicare rebate $43.90)
  • Complex consultation: $115 (Medicare rebate $84.90)
  • Telephone consultation: $85 (Medicare rebate $43.90)

After-hours consultations

  • Complex consultation: $125 (Medicare rebate $98.00)

Payment is required on the day of consultation for anyone not covered by Medicare. Some procedures and services not covered by Medicare may attract an additional fee.

Repeat prescriptions & referrals

For your safety, repeat prescriptions and referrals require an appointment so your doctor can review your care. Please book ahead if you are running low on regular medication.

Test results

To protect your privacy, we are generally unable to give test results over the telephone. Please book a follow-up appointment to discuss your results with your doctor.

After-hours care

When the practice is closed, after-hours medical care is available through Dial-A-Doctor, a bulk-billed home-visit GP service operating across Perth 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays. Call Dial-A-Doctor on 1300 030 030 to arrange a home visit. After the visit, the attending doctor sends their notes back to us so we can continue your care.

In a medical emergency, always call 000 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

Zero tolerance

Hampton Medical Centre has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive or threatening behaviour. We strictly do not tolerate any form of threat, or verbal or physical abuse, towards our staff, doctors, patients or visitors. Anyone behaving this way may be asked to leave and to seek care elsewhere.

We are committed to protecting your personal health information at all times and to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
